Why am I unable to copy pictures from my SD Card on my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc?

I have an Xperia Arc.. even though i have installed Media Go on my laptop, I am unable to copy the pictures and videos from the memory card! PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!
