Why am I so tired???

Well I went to doctor again regarding my symptoms and he has requested more blood including ferratin and I think more thyroid tests.
I am starting to think it may be due to thyroid problems because I haven't had a period for several months.
I take multivitimans everyday because of my mother.
And energy drink make me sick (they are grosss) and tea and coffee do not fare well with me. So I have laid off all caffeine.

So I consulted the doctor again and he has requested more blood tests for ferratin and more thyroid ones.
He said that if these tests are normal then I'm being referred to the pediatric unit because I have had other problems too and he thinks they all might be related in some way but he doesn't know for sure.

I've been tired for the last couple of years for absolutely no reason. I used to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start my day, even at the times I got less than the ideal amount of sleep. Now, I can sleep for 8-9 hours and feel wiped out when I get up. I'm not even physically active and there are times I just pass out during the day for a couple hours.

Hypothyroidism and anemia can both cause fatigue, and while I have no definite proof, I have batted around the idea that I might have one of these conditions myself since I have several symptoms of both. I also had the TSH test and it came back as "acceptable", whatever that's supposed to mean. Anemia I never got ruled out...I never had my own insurance because I was on my mother's plan all through school and she never took me to the hospital unless I really begged anyway because she said I was overreacting about everything.

One last thing...if you're older than 12, don't let your GP send you to pediatrics. I don't recall seeing your age, but I'm guessing you're a young adult. I was treated by a pediatrician until I was about 16 and she put me on very strong antibiotics for a whole month for an "infection" I didn't even have (bacteria that would be bad in a child's body, but is totally normal in a teen's body). If you can help it, don't go to a pediatrician.
