Our household internet usage allowance from Rogers Canada is 60GB per month and somehow we went over. We have 2 PCs and an XBox 360. I do download things like torrents a lot, which also means that I upload as well (seeding). I constantly keep several internet windows open and sometimes watch things online, usually things like Youtube or whatever. So I'm sure that a lot of the usage goes to me.
My brother plays on his XBox 360 all the time. He plays those multiplayer games, mainly Call of Duty I think, that allow you to connect and play with/against your friends and people all over the world.
What I would like to know is if him playing these games is part of the problem? Does his XBox affect the internet allowance and if so how much?
* A little side question - if I call Rogers and ask them what is causing the overages will they be able to tell me what it is? Will they be able to see exactly what we've been looking at or downloading, like each individual page or file or would it be less specific?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
