Why am I getting charged $0.20 per text I send and receive (for Telus prepaid mobile phone)?

I just updated it this morning with 2500 texts for this month and it says:
feature expires duration price
Messaging 2500 December 8, 2011 30days $10.00
yet I just checked my account and for all the texts I've sent and received today I am getting charged $0.20 for them..?
