Why am I getting a 'connection not available' messgae on a Nokia on Orange?

Every morning I wake up and my phone is fine, I can send texts and go online etc. Today I turn it on and 'connection not available' just keeps flashing up on the screen and there is no signal to go online or send any messages. Does anyone know why? (It's a Nokia N97 Mini on Orange)
