Why am I all of a sudden a sex addict, and can't curb my desire?

I recently moved in with my boyfriend of four years last June. Since then it feels like I can't get enough! He works nights and is often tired, so sometimes he physically can't "perform." But when we do have sex, I want to do it time after time. Now he is even more exhausted and we have sex even less. We recently got engaged and my libido went through the roof. I'm not a horn dog or promiscuous or anything like that. But I can't curb my sex drive to save my life, and I'm tired of being turned down, I have a hard time of seeing the real reason he says no, and often think it's because he feels I'm unattractive.
 
I have the exact same problem too. I have been told by quite a few that I am attractive and Im sure you are too. My boyfriend is always tired, too tired to have sex, which I want every night. Last night he said something about it hurting when he does it too many nights in a row? I've never heard that one before... It hurts when I get turned down so Iknow what you mean. He never explains why hes not up to it, just that he's tired or that I "got it last night." I thought men were meant to love a woman with a high sex drive, apparently not. Ive been told its not true, but it does make me feel unattractive and all I want to do is look good for him.
Its not really an answer but I had to get that off my chest. If you find an answer, do tell!
