Why am I addicted to talking to strangers on online chats?

Well I am a pretty normal teenage girl, i have friends at school about 2 of them are my best friends and i socialize
I feel insecure lack confidence at times. and always feel quite lonely, though im not.
When im online i always receive multiple compliments of my appearance and its pretty awesome.

But why am I so addicted to chats?!!!!?
blehhh.. its kind of frustrating ....
 
I'm the same way it's all good! I'm 18 and I spend my time downloading new apps to talk to random people. It's a bit of a problem because it consumes my life lol. I think I do it because I the attention I get that I don't normally get in real life.
 
It must be nice to get compliments on your appearance.
