Why all this gay-bashing, soul-saving, sexuality-changing talk in America when:?

We have large groups of people who are truly, and much more destructively, undermining the safety and sanctity of America? Why don't we cure the real threats to society instead of getting all hung up on what a person does in the privacy of our homes?

* Drug dealers. (Selling their poison from ice cream trucks and on schoolyards).
* Street gangs. (Recruiting children as young as 8).
* Sex offenders. (Targeting the helpless, or causing one to be helpless).
* Thieves and embezzlers. (They can ruin a family's entire life and future).

I mean, really? Don't these people have anything bigger to worry about? Oh, I forgot ... It's better to have your child gunned down by a drive-by while he's snorting his 8-ball than it is for the same kid to sit in school next to a homo.

I understand the teachings of the Bible (thought I don't proscribe) and I understand that homosexuality is unacceptable to many people, and I don't hold that (in and of itself) against anybody. But it seems to me that too many people are too concerned about homosexuality, and it seems to me that their priorities are out of whack. I just don't get it.

Maybe someone can explain to me why homosexuals in America is a headliner issue while our street gangs and drug dealers are growing exponentially and have the highest recidivism rate among all convicted felons.

Maybe someone can explain this to me.
Sun: "it's simple. the drug dealers and gangs, while a nuisance, I admit, aren't a bunch of queers." That's what you said. Research, please, how many children's lives are taken by gang violence, then compare that to how many children's lives are taken by a homosexual, then provide me proof that gangs are just "a nuisance".
