This friend of mine is currently incarcerated. He reached out to me earlier in 2010 and since then we became really close again. We haven't seen or talked to each other in 3 years and I was so amazed that he reached out to me and I almost cried because for the fact I thought we weren't friends anymore and he thought the same. Anyway, he asked me to help him out with a money situation but due to my money problems I couldn't. He told me "I hope you know better then that that our friendship means a lot more to me then money, money can never amount to our friendship, we practically grew up with each other." Then he tells me that it's not the only reason he reached out to me basically he reached out because there wasn't really anybody there for him. Even at times when I wouldn't write back for a 2 weeks or a month he'd get all emotional telling me that I must not want to be his friend or be there for him. He comes home in the next month and we are looking forward to seeing eachother. I feel at times like I love him because he has been the only person there for me besides my mom n my sisters, I feel I can tell him anything and everything. Could he feel the same? After all I am basically the only one there for him who continues to support him through his ordeal. What do you think?
