Who's to say if I may ramble as well?

Since it seems a day for sideline topics, might this warrant attention?

As many came as I’d hoped, I’ve packed the house this time,
To a lifetime of social networking, this crowd must sure attest,
Yet, where’s the buzz, the clamor, the happy noises now expressed
in song where each one happily, easily, wantonly sings along?

So quiet , almost reverential, far beyond sublime;
Could it possibly be this mistranslated a request?
Could no one in this life of time have gotten my behest?
How could this whole performance be this quiet with this throng?

Won’t someone help me out here; is each one of you a mime?
Speak up, share a joke, an anecdote, or memory heart-deep;
No matter what, I most don’t want a wake that’s more like sleep!
To end a life like this like that could hardly be more wrong!
Hiya Sweet Parisa! :-) Have heard the pig joke before, but like it much, and am sure others will enjoy as well! Thanks for the nice words!
T'anks Michael; always a pleasure seein' you as well! Don' know who that is that came in witcha, but shoulda mebbe stayed at museum! LMBO
Just so Y!All know, this wasn't really a solicitation for jokes, anecdotes or anything else that was in the poem. I had a very funereal weekend last weekend, and it was sppoky solemn for my tastes. This write just says I don't want mine t'be that way! LMBO

*Cue Music* Let's get this party started...
TO ELAINE: And I certainly respect those wishes and that personal understanding of the theology and process and tradition. Through hospice ministries I have encountered all flavors; this, m'dear was merely mine and I meant, in no way, to even recommend, let alone prescribe for others in its vetting!

Nor was I inviting Bambi the stripper! Lord he'p us!
