I've had some debates with my friends...
What if Russia had not collapsed in the 90's? To make it simple, if Russia was at a close economical and military level with the US. Considering that Russia won in Afghanistan and had more experienced soldiers as a result. I know the US would always rule in air and sea. But what I'm specifically asking is in the ground war. what would be the results of the ground war? AK vs M4/M16, M1A1 Abrams vs T90. Etc etc.
By the way, I mean in MODERN times, not 90's. After 90's like in the present cause by 2009, Russia should have made a modified and a much better Ak from the old one.
