Hello I have a art project and I thought I would do a dark children's poem book with picture art. I need to cite some of the poems I am using and I can't seem to pin down who really wrote this poem/song.
It seems to come down to Edgar Allen Poe and John Debney. It doesn't really match E.A.P Style of writing from what i have read from him but if anyone knows can you please tell me who wrote this?
Also does anyone know anymore dark themed poems aimed to scare children or have them in it? (I already have the poem Two Dead Boys) Thanks in advance.

Come little children
I'll take thee away, into a land
of Enchantment
Come little children
the time's come to play
here in my garden
of Shadows
Follow sweet children
I'll show thee the way
through all the pain and
the Sorrows
Weep not poor children
for life is this way
murdering beauty and
Passions
Hush now dear children
it must be this way
to weary of life and
Deceptions
Rest now my children
for soon we'll away
into the calm and
the Quiet
Come little children
