Both have been on fire. Rivers faces St. Louis in what could be a blowout (see last week Rams vs. Lions) which means Rivers might use the run game more or possibly sit out early. Orton on the other hand faces the Jets who are missing Revis. even if they weren't facing the jets defense, Marony, Buckhalter, and moreno possibly coming back from injury, still aren't getting it done and Orton has been throwing the ball A LOT. I hate to sit Rivers but I need every point I can get this week. Another thing to take into consideration, Orton plays at home but Rivers is on the road where the chargers have been 0-3. Also weather will not be a factor for Rivers as he's playing under the dome. Thanks for your input.
