During a fight we had, my step-mom slapped me hard across the face, leaving it swollen and red. In response, I got up and put her in a head-lock, said "Don't ever slap me across the face ever again!", and I threw her on the ground. Then she called the police. I was the only one who had to write anything about the incident. I'm a 16 year old male from IL, and I'm bigger than she is, but not by much as I'm pretty scrawny. My question is which of us, if either of us, can face criminal charges?
Who will go to jail, me or my step-mom?
