Who was the first person to grind on a bike? And what kind of grind was it?

I remember seeing an interview with matt hoffman on props and he said something about how they were the first ones to do a grind which is when they found out steel stuck to aluminum or something and it showed a clip of a double peg down a handrail.

So if you really want to find out i would look up on it but im pretty sure it was matt and a double peg.
