Just new to this forum. With interest I was reading this thread. I'm from the Netherlands and a member of the dutch ducati Club. Our club has just purchased a Ducati desmosedici! and it's for rent for all our members for 150 Euro per day, that without a deposit of 4000 euro's if you brake it (you will recieve the 4000 back if the bike is still in one piece) I think it's an excellent plan where a lot of members will have the change to ride a desmosedici. (we have approx. 5000 members) so if everyone takes a a ride the bike will be paid for. Insurrance and maintainance have been arranged via the importer.
Perhaps an idea for you guys in NA?
