Who thinks the original 2D Clone Wars series is better than new CGI version?

After watching the beginning of clone wars series 4 (specifically season 4 episode 4 "shadow warrior"),who believes the original series of clone wars animated by Genndy Tartakovsky is much more superior in terms of story line arch, deeper plot lines and characters and dialogue that were fully fleshed even though the animation was 2d(far rougher in outline than the CGI version)? In the original series we as an audience still have an affinity and empathy towards the characters we are watching and in some way this added to our understanding generally of the Star Wars cannon.( The expanded universe so to speak). In its defense some of the new clone wars has been action packed but in terms of teaching us something new and helping us understand what George Lucas created initially it has been a massive failure and disappointment imo to fans like myself who expected so much more.Of course you have to bear in mind that the series created by Genndy Tartakovsky won 2 Emmy's a brilliant achievement (which must be a thorn in the side for those that still champion the new series)for an animated series which only run for 2 seasons compared to goodness how many episodes and seasons have been made under Dave "the lap dog I will do anything you say Geogre" Filoni which i will predict would not be winning any more star wars fans nor any type of animation awards in the near future .I bought dvd to the original clone wars series and watch that whenever i feel like i need further insight into the world of Star Wars but i will not be buying any of the new Clone Wars and that to me is the real shame because it feels like so much money has been spent building a format which though very stylized comes without any real consideration into the actual content of what a) the series is trying to say or b) where it's trying to go in regard of the overall and varied canons of what Star Wars has to offer.
