Who Started the sport of Field hockey? And when and where?

some guys who didn't have the guts to play ice hockey, and they weren't smart enough to know about street hockey. so they got together, made up some funny looking bent pipes, and ran about on a field chasing a ball, and called it hockey, just to make themselves feel tough

field hockey is 100 times more boring than Ice Hockey. Slower paced too...
