Who sings the 1980s G.I. Joe cartoon theme song?

My husband grew up on the cartoon, and recently discovered it to be back on the air on the HUB network. Both him and I think the singer sounds like Mike Rowe, of Dirty Jobs, but cannot confirm this. Please help!
