Who Really Deserves An Oscar?

It used to be Kate Winslet who we always wanted to win and Oscar and she finally won this year. Heres my pick for the future to win Oscars.

2. Julianne Moore
3. Mickey Rourke
4. Tom Wilkinson
5. Albert Finney
6. Amy Adams
7. Michelle Williams
8. Tom Cruise
9. Brad Pitt
10. Mia Farrow
11. Will Smith
12. Emily Watson
13. Peter O' Toole
14. Ed Harris
15. Johnny Depp

Others that deserve more Oscars are Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett and Morgan Freeman.
 
I don't know about any of the lot you've listed but Tom Cruise can be quite a good actor, if you take away the pretty boy thing.

I'd probably give it to a nobody who's impressed me. :)
 
I agree with all of those I've bolded, I think all have turned out some outstanding work which has been overlooked (DiCaprio in Revolutionary Road this year, for example).

Those in italics I think have yet to pull out an Oscar WINNING performance but are deserved nominees and ones to look out for in the future.

I've underlined Depp because I think he's similar to Cruise/Pitt, in that they're very hit and miss ... though I think Depp's hits are more frequent and better than the others. Actually, Cruise and Pitt I think are cringeworthy in almost everything and disagree with Pitt's nomination this year for BB, which I think would have been a better film (if not perfect) without him.
