Who owns a Ducati 848?

I actually own a Ducati Monster, but test road the 848.

There's hardly anything negative I can say with the experience of riding any Ducati.

The feeling, the torque, the low drone sound of a desmodromic engine is quite unique to a regular V-twin or inline 4 engine.

There is however, the costly need for valve and belt changes or adjustments for Ducati bikes, but Ducati recommends those at each 7,500 miles so there's alot of riding enjoyment in between each scheduled maintenence.

I am not impressed with the newer bikes mirrors. They vibrate alot and don't adjust easily and you'll end up wanting aftermarket mirrors.

Many Ducati dealers allow demo rides and have demo ride days for their bikes. Check with your Ducati dealer and they probably allow you to test ride a 848.
