who makes the cards that have the two voices usually joking?

Okay so that's the best way I can explain it ..... you know the cards usually at walmart or cvs that have the two little cartoon characters on it .... I think they are dogs or cats ... something with long ears
but anyway who makes those cards and what are the names of the characters???

any help would be great!
nope its not ren and stimpy ... the cards are usually appropriate ... no crude humor
