Who makes a better truck Dodge, Ford or Chevy?

My father was looking to get a used truck 05 or newer and he was looking at either the Dodge Ram 1500, Ford F-150 or Chevy Silverado. Any opinions on which truck is most reliable. He has driven a Honda Civic for the past 20 years and it has finally quit so he's looking for a truck this time, something that would be reliable and last as long as his Honda.
 
Chevy or Ford, dodge rams are the best but dodge is slowly slipping from existance. i love chevy but probably the ford
