Who made "BMX Racing Team" BMX bikes?

I found a vintage late 70s/early 80's BMX bike in the trash. The decal on the headtube (front) has a cyclist with "BMX" above him and "Racing Team" below him. There is also a viper snake decal on the frame. I'm guessing this bike is a department store brand. Any ideas on who may have manufactured it?
