Okay this is going to be a little tricky. A few days ago, I had a battery light come on, we checked the cables and stuff, and everything was clean. well then we took it to advanced auto parts to check the battery. Well they didn't really know (idiots) so when we pulled out of the parking lot, we stalled, and it wouldn't turn on. we drained the battery completely. So then my dad put a new alternater in it, and then it still wouldn't work. then we bought a new battery for it, still didn't work. It stalled on me in the middle of a busy highway and i had to get it towed 30 some miles back home. We also replaced the intake fuse. Does anyone know what the solution is?
Who knows what could cause 96 Ford Contour to have a drained battery?
