Nicholas Sparks is my fave author, but I said 9 only because he is awfully repetitive, I can't read his books too often or I get bogged down with the themes.
I gave J.K Rowling 9 because she is a great writer but I haven't read anything else by her so can't judge

My choices because...
SMeyer is a disgrace to literature, she massacred it. She also put real vampires to disgrace by making them sparkle and vegetarians. It was a stupid, unoriginal, cliched piece of crap filled with Mary Sues and Gary Stus.
JK Rowling because she is my favorite writer, her books are just great. I can't get bored of reading them. The plot is amazing and the characters great.

yep you're write jk rowling. i love her writing because she leaves it to be like a cliff hanger yet she has an AMAZING imagination.

alyson noel - i have read all the immortals series (am getting the 3rd one when it comes out next week!) and have read saving zoe. i have loves ALL her books so much that I cannot stop thinking about them. they are just amazing and totally addicting. i have even talked to her on email/facebook and on her website. she is awesome and so nice. i can't wait to meet her at a book signing

lisa mcmann - i have read wake and fade. i absolutly love those books for i love romance and dreams. they have taught me so much about life and stuff and i just love them. i cannot wait till gone! and i have also talked to her online and she is nice too

Because JK Rowling is the best author alive, Stephenie Meyer can't write a book that has a plot (or even something that closely resembles one), and Nicholas Sparks is a good author just there are some I like better. Obviously I can't judge Meg Cabot as I haven't read her books.
