No one has yet to comment on how much they think they will sell on eBay. Based on the 360 sells I figure by the end of day two some will reach over $2000 at least. Are stores expecting enough to cover the demand? I don't know, but I doubt it cause the 360 shipped just about as many. I'm tempted to sell my PS3 closer to the holidays when people start to get desperate. What do you guys think? When will be the best time to sell it?
I don't know, I can guarentee you that the hype on the 360 died down during the holiday, and I personally know a lot of kids that got the card with "Whenever they're reaily in stock, we'll get you a 360". Then they had a second launch on like Jan 2nd or 3rd.
I'm going for a 5 day auction, starting the day I go to camp out. That'll end on the 3rd or 4th day after the launch, so I should be alright on that.
For people who got preorders and trying to get one on launch, are you paying in cash and then selling, or buying with credit card What are you supposed to do with the reciept? If it's anything like the Xbox360, I think people will want to be able to return it if it dies on them.
So I've been told by a close friend who's also a gamestop employee that sony paid ebay to remove all ps3 listings. I don't have anything to back this up but don't try to call bullshit unless you know different for a fact.
I will go wait in line but not that early. If the line is too long by the time I get there, there are a lot of little store around where I'm sure I'll find one. I'm keeping mine though, not gonna resell it. Oh yea, I can go in at my job at any time so that won't be a problem
I was thinking in the line of Radio Shack (Circuit City) which are small and crappy here, or even odd places like Canadian Tire (Car part store that now have an electronic section). I'm convinced I will get mine to play on day one .
EDIT, forgot that it's now called The Source, not Radio Shack... Still crappy place though.
