I'm the only one out of 4 children, my parents, and my siblings spouses that have an education. I'm from a small town. However I live about six hours away from my family where I go to college. I've taken early childhood classes, and I've learned a lot about children and how they should be raised. It's hard for me to be around my family, because they handle situation with their kids so awful.
Example.
My nephew is six and is playing tee ball. We were at my aunts house, playing baseball. My nephew hit the ball to the left and ran to first base, when he got there my uncle had a baseball in his pocket and put it in his glove and said your out! It was just a joke...we laughed and my nephew threw a huge fit. He's such a bad sport...my brother said he's just a kid and comforting him. I think my nephew needs to learn to take a joke and realize how to laugh at himself. Or else he's gonna be a spoiled brat. What do you think?
