Who is the easiest poet to write about & interpret their poems. Can someone tell me an easy & understandable poet to write about. I have to say what influenced them to write poems. i also need to interpret their poems. I suck at poetry so can someone tell me an easy poet who write easy and understandable poems
 
Langston Hughes.
Just read the poem
"I, Too"
and it's exactly what it's stating.
just how african americans were seen as inferior to whites around that time, and didn't appreciate how he was treated just because of his skin color.

Or William Shakespeare.
He's so well known that all of his works can be found anywhere and be able to translate them to old english to new english so it will be understandable. For example, Julius Caesar, Romeo And Juliet, Macbeth, Hamlet. They were pretty much about love, war, and death.
