Synopsis: A wealthy man has mastermind a plan to monopolize the world markets by removing all of the top CEOs of large corporations in order to buy them out. Some CEOs go willingly with substantial payoffs, others who refuse, are killed by a contracted killer who is eventually arrested which closes the case on the file. Meanwhile, the actual mastermind cleverly hires more "susceptible" prey who were usually laid-off or former employees of the stubborn CEOs to do more dirty work. These emotionally fragile and raged-filled contract killers never meet or even know who they work for. The mastermind travels the world and finds a female who he introduces her into his lifestyle. She was an FBI agent who was tasked to handle the recent rash of killings of the CEOs. She eventually falls in love with this mastermind and sees that anything can be afforded. The mastermind uses her to finalize his plans, and tells her she will be the Director of the FBI (and finally get her long awaited promotion in a male dominated field). His reach into the American government is so deep, that she eventually earns her spot. The one agent who suspected foul play (a cover up or something "wrong") would eventually be killed by her own scheme. The novel ends with her talking to her lover on the phone. Now the mastermind and his girl own most of the world, and some countries.
