the occult around 1920's? I forgot his name so hopefully somebody was watching TCM last Halloween (2008) as they where showing movies based on his books. Movies where all made in period of 1960-1970's.
Yes he was an American author that wrote stories about the paranormal, supernatural and I think the occult.
While I am not sure of exact time period he wrote it was defiantly from 1900's up till early 1930's.
