who is right ?

Start your own wrestling team. Fight your own tag team matches in those caged arenas and take on Triple H, or whoevers popular in wrestling.

One step at a time, you'll be at the top.

Nothing I said was about respecting authority.

Go read it again skippy loo, and let me know what you think I was saying.

(and no, I will not get off my high horse, not now, not ever.)

First off, the crowd would never be behind you when they heard that you quit the wrestling team because that faggoty captain called you a few names and dis-respected you. They're gonna feel the same way that the rest of the team did when you packed up your shit and walked out of that gym... "fucking quitter".

I take Chads side with this, you shouldn't have quit. You should have toughed it out a little bit more and earned your rep on that squad. Yes that's right papagnome, you have to earn your rep in other places than the internets.

but now the team hates him because they barley have enough people now and i do have rep with some of them so i think i have this in the bag

I have to agree that quitting wasn't the right choice. What about going to your coach and talking to him about the problems you have with the captain. Get the others on the team that have the same problems to go with you. But stay calm and see what the coach plans to do. He will probobly start by just talking to the captain about it, but if the captain keeps being an asshole then the coach may have to do more than talk to keep his team.

Don't fight with this guy outside of a wrestling match. It would be a waste of time. The school will take disiplinary action, possibly suspension, which means your grades will suffer and your parents probobly won't be happy. Don't let this guy get to you like that.
