There are 34 major solar projects approved in CA and some environmentalists are trying to fast track them. Who is holding them up? It is not who most people think. 10 points for the first correct answer...
Peace...well, I guess you get the 10 points because you used the word environmental in your answer. The moratorium on solar projects was enacted in the last half of May 2008, and was lifted by July 2008. Barely lasted a month.
The real culprits are Diane Feinstein and environmentalists. They claim potential damage to the area, but there is no basis for the claim. It is pathetic that those who scream for renewable, are in the same ranks of those who block it.
This is nothing less than a case of "not in my backyard" like the windmills that the Kennedy's fought because it was in the area of one of their properties.
