Who, in your opinion, was the greatest President in U.S. history?

Abe Lincoln. Kept the nation from falling apart by leading it through a very difficult war and put the nation on the track to ending slavery.
 
Correction on good ole Abe. He had slaves, used slavery as a political issue and would have you executed or incarcerated if you looked at him crosswise. George Washington, on the other hand, wouldn't even except pay as President of our country.

Ronald Reagan,He inherited a recession, a double digit inflation rate- interest rates the like of which we had never seen before. The highest unemployment rate since the great depression. And his policy to lower taxes and stimulate the economy worked.
He brought down the soviet union.
He stood for personal liberty and responsibility.
He left us a greater nation from all view points.
 
RONALD REAGAN WHO HAD TO CLEANUP THE MESS LEFT BY THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER JIMMY CARTER. FDR WAS OVERRATED AS HIS EFFORTS TO END THE GREAT DEPRESSION FAILED TIME AFTER TIME,
 
obviously most people are going to say Abe Lincoln or George Washington because they were handsdown two of the greatest presidents ever. other than those two i think Eisenhower who was president during a great time period with not much wrong and kept it that way, Raegan who took on a terrible economy with his plan and it worked and helped bring down the soviet union, and FDR for WWII and the great depression were the best presidents even though he made some mistakes. also i kno ill get a billion thumbs downs for this but i think GWB was also a great president. he took on the era of terrorism when Clinton didn't have the guts. We had to learn how to deal with it as we go to, because we've never dealt with warfare like this. other than the bailouts WHICH DEMOCRATS LIKE OBAMA ARE IN FAVOR OF and the patriot act i think he was a great president. also andrew jackson was a great pres because he fought international bankers as previously stated but he also dealt with indian invasions and the expansion era. he also agreed to the louisiana purchase doubling the size of our country.
