Who in American Major League Baseball was the fastest to reach 500 and 600 Homeruns.
 
They say Babe Ruth, the bambino himself, because his career was much shorter than Hank Aaron's. Moreover, when Ruth played for Boston, he was mainly a pitcher, and that, too, was in the era of the dead ball, so it didn't count very much, toward home runs.. It was Ruth himself who ushered in the home run era after the Black Sox scandal, so many say.
 
Alex Rodriguez became the fastest player to hit 500 homeruns last season.

I think the fastest player to hit 600 home runs was Babe Ruth. He passed it in 1931. At the time, he was 36.

Aaron did it when he was 37, Bonds and Mays did it at 38, and Sosa did it at 39.

I think A-Rod will beat that record in 3 years and become the fastest player to reach 600 homeruns at 35.
