they are both on the same side of the street, within 20ft of each other. When using the street, the parking lot exit is on the left side. If a car in the parking lot turned right when a car at the stop sign turned left, it could cause an accident, right? So which one would be in the right for their turn?
Who has the right of way? A car exiting a parking lot, or a car parked at a stop sign?
