Example: There's a lady that lives in the city close to her work, so close she walks to work. On her way to work every morning she passes by a pet shop that has a bird cage right out front. In this birdcage is a parrot that calls out to her as she walks by, " HEY LADY ".
She looks at the parrot and asks "what?" the parrot says " Your really ugly ". the lady is clearly miffed and stomps off to work. The next day the bird calls out to her again " HEY LADY " she looks at him without stopping this time and asks in a low growl " What? " The bird loudly says " YOUR REALLY UGLY." she is furious. The lady heads into the pet-shop demanding to speak to the owner. She explains that she has to walk by to get to work and how the bird had been insulting her and she demanded that the owner " DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT". The shop owner said that he understood and was very sorry he stated that he would talk to the bird and promised that it would not happen again. She left grumbling that it had better not. The next day on the way by the shop the parrot calls out to her " HEY LADY " . She stops in her tracks and says " WHAT? " . The parrot replies ................................." you know".
