Where have all the billions gone? The blame for the present bank-crisis is universally put upon bad credit deals, particularly housing loans. Is this really credible?
When you consider all the many many BILLIONS that different Governments/Authorities, throughout the world, have handed out to the banks in 'rescue' aid it occurs to me that the total must come to many times more than the actually houses cost in the first place. I am really thick when it comes to global finances ... so would some knowledge person please explain where this loot has actually gone... and who has benefited from it?
