Food is tasty, not extremely Japanese though. Guys like it a lot because the food is cooked pretty fast right in front of you, there is some knife tricks, and there is lots of food. My nephews all like the turf & surf--lobster & steak (and veggies). You can special order fried rice if you don't like plain Japanese rice. If you are old enough and like it, you can order drinks (kind of expensive though), some of which come in these Japanese god mugs. And I can't remember if they have dessert or not since I never eat dessert.
