Who else was a Star Wars lover as a kid? : ]?

I was watching Star Wars for the first time in years with my brother, and it brought back so many warm memories. I remembered almost every line it was crazy. Any other guys as young boys were obsessed with this classic?
 
Well, I'm not a boy but my brother and husband were very much into the movies.
My ex was obsessed!
He even collected all the figurines as an adult.
I don't even remember how many stores we went to find Boba Fett (sp).
Never my cup of tea really but if I happen to catch one of the originals on, it makes me think about that time when I first saw them..
 
I used to be a hardcore fan when I was a kid, but not anymore. Quite frankly, I now find the saga to be a bit cheesy in terms of plot. You really can't compare Star Wars to Star Trek because the former has more of a childish look. It (Star Wars) emphasizes more on the shooting and sword-fights, unlike Star Trek which has a real story behind it. After all these years, I have to admit that Star Wars was made for kids.

No wonder the films after the 1977 original movie received horrendous critical receptions.
