Who else thinks it is weird when...?

I'm sure it's because they're glad Jesus died for them on the cross so that they could be forgiven for their sins. Also it wasn't an actual cross like people interpret now in days.

A lot of devout Christians decorate with or wear crosses. Anyone else think that's weird? I mean, imagine if you were about to get struck by a car and a loving, compassionate person (maybe your dad) pushed you out of the way, got hit instead and died. Would you wear a car pendant around your neck to remember? Or let's say you were Jesus. How would you feel if you saw millions of people wearing and decorating with crosses, the very thing you were killed on? Wouldn't it creep you out? Wearing something that led to the death of someone isn't a good way to revere them.

I think we are of the same mind because I've always thought this same thing. And christians think they need to confront me for wearing a pentacle - at least that's not some capital punishment device. Might as well wear a little electric chair.

I believe the opposite is true. Christians and non-Christians wear a cross around their neck. You must not be Christian because you do not know what It symbolizes. Jesus paid a price for dying on the cross. He is the only one who could have done it. We wear it because the sacrifice of giving HIS life to save ours.

He is worthy of the praise and honour.

And no I do not think it is weird.
Have a wonderful day!
