Who else is going to miss Tim Russert moderating the Presidential debates?

I liked Tim Russert, a lot, as a person. He had an outstanding personality and charm.

From a political view, he was just another liberal biased journalist. From news groups like NY Times, CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC, they replace news reporters with clones from the same mold, over and over and over. If you are an openly conservative in NY Times, CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC, your career is over, there is no chance for you to be on the air, if you don't carry the socialist flag.

Shame on anyone for attacking Tim Russert on a personal level, he was well liked and respected as a person.

From a political level, there are a lot worse, at least Tim was a likeable guy. Rest in Peace!

You may get opinions about how he conducted the past debates, favoring one side or another, but one must consider the life's work of the man. He was a tireless reporter, obtaining interviews with dignitaries when other reporters had failed. The most telling remark about the man's character is that he maintained the same staff for years and years, and when you work closely with someone, your true nature is revealed. All of his staff say that they deeply admired him, and he will be sorely missed by them.

I will miss Russert as well. He was a staight forward sharp shooter and I can't imagine who will take his place.

Russert was an obama lover.

he lost his journalism intregity this year.

he was becoming a paid off reporter.

he was part of the propaganda for the war back in 2002

while its sad that he is dead

as a professional, he was horrid.

and for all you that say, he will be missed

go find the real war heroes and vets who died and honor those people not some paid off journalist

Yes - he was a Democrat without being a partisan - that is way too difficult for most "journalists" in Washington. And now discussions with David Gregory?!? OMG! Goodbye "Meet the Press". We had a nice long run.

I will miss him every Sunday for the rest of my life. Tim was 15 years older than me and I fully expected to be watching him every weekend until well after I started drawing social security, God willing I last that long. I am overweight and have high cholesterol. If his death has any meaning, maybe it will make some of us rethink our lifestyle and choices in diet. He will be missed in this household. RIP Tim.

I will

In a world of partisan hacks Tim Russert was as fair as they get. He treated everyone the same and played no favorites.

In memory of him I must say

" GO BILLS"
