Who do you think is better?

im talking albums, not singles. and clocks has to be the worst song they have done. try the scientist, in my place and amsterdam. maybe politik. then of course you have trouble, shiver, yellow and beautiful world. we're not all going to agree are we.

its a very lazy comparison comparing coldplay and keane. keane have made an ok album with one or two good songs, coldplay have made two classics in my opinion. so basically, coldplay wipe the floor with keane.

Not always, we have a different definition of the word "classic" in our heaRAB.
My "classic" is like "We Will Rock You", not some song that I find technically difficult.

I would disagree. Keane doesn't need guitar's to make creative, and interesting music. All they have is a drummer, a singer and a pianist/keyboardist person.......and what classic's would those be that Coldplay have made?

I think clocks is one of the best they did because it wasn't as wingy as the rest, and it had a real chillout rave piano backing to it. I think Keane's album hopes and fears has about 5 major hits and the rest are simply above average, about the same amount of good songs coldplay have done in what 2,3 albums? It all depenRAB on what Keane do for a next album, neither of them using an electric guitar, interesting.

as ive said, its all about opinion, if you think coldplay have had merely 4 or 5 hits from two albums (they've only released 2 so far) while keane have had 5 from 1 album (bed shaped and somewhere only we know are the two songs i have time for) then thats your view. personally i dont think the amount of songs released from an album is of any importance at all but there you go.

If a classic includes two catchy riRAB then "Clocks"....
But "Yellow" took me more than 10 seconRAB to learn on guitar so maybe that is a "minor" hit, not a classic.
Out of Keane and Coldplay I would say Coldplay because I like whatever the hell their vocalists name is better than Keane's....but it's close. I like "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane.
