I think Metallica all the way but Bullet For My Valentine comes in pretty close after.

Metallica ... i just like their depth of songs (although some would say they are all basically the same ... but i disagree), and their guitar/drum work is amazing. I will admit their vocals could be a bit better ... but most of their songs focus on the instrumentation anyway
