I've filed a complaint with the better business bureau. Who can can I file a complaint to? This is in Florida.
A lawyer's office in Miami, never served me with a subpeona to appear in court over a 9 year old credit card debt that has been through multiple collection agencies (and forgiven by the courts from the prior collection agency.) I'm a victim of identity theft and this debt isn't mine. Now I find out that there is a judgement against me and my salary is being garnished!!! How can a lawyer do this w/o a person's knowledge? for a debt that is way past the statute of limitations? this has got to be illegal, and I'm disputing it.
