Who can I contact to track a cellphone?

My dad's truck got broken into last night, and had his cellphone and many other things taken. I was wondering if there was a way to possibly trace where the last call took place or where it was last turned on at.

Obviously I'm going to be grumpy about this, so no smart assy answers please.
 
all cell phones can b traced your cell provider can do it i use alltell and i can go online see were all the phones on my account are your provider might have something like that idk
 
Well I hope that you have reported the theft to the police! They will track the calls and do what is necessary to find the thief. I know you are grumpy, but it would be very dangerous for you to attempt to track and capture the thief on your own.
