Who are some good teen authors?

Alice Sebold- Lucky, The Lovely Bones
Stephenie Meyer- Twilight series
L.J. Smith- Vampire Diaries series
Nicholas Sparks- The Lucky One, A Walk To Remember, etc.
Laurie Halse Anderson- Speak.
Melissa De La Cruz- Blue Bloods series.
Cecily von Ziegesar- Gossip Girl series.
Richelle Mead- Vampire Academy series.

all of these are great books.
 
I enjoyed Christopher Pike as a teen, especially one called "Road to Nowhere". Also liked "Remember Me" and "Die Softly". Horror-esque/ thriller/ mystery work. He even did a saga about a vampire (for any vamp fans out there).
 
Mercedes Lackey is a great author although i think she's in the middle between young adult and normal adult books.. but i'm 15 and i love her books.... i recommend the Jousters series and i'm currently reading Fortune's Fool and it's amazing... but if you like more horror books Darren Shan's "Cirque Du Freak" and "Demonata" series are great too.. hmm let's see what else have i read ummmm "Evermore" by Alyson Noel was good too and "Night Road" by a.M. Jenkins was good too
 
Do you like fantasy? Because Sarah Rees Brennan is a new author who just put out the first book in a trilogy about demons, and it's lovely.
