White sores in mouth

My husband keeps getting little white blister sores in his mouth. He is constantly brushing and using mouth wash and peroxide to keep his mouth clean. But he still gets these sores. Can anyone tell me if there is something to keep it from happening or to heal it up quickly?
 
If it's mouth ulcers, my denist told me to use L-lysine tablets that you can get in the vitamin section.

He also told me that chocolate or food high in acid will cause them.

I also rinse with warm, salty water.
