white smoke on an older model toyota stanza?

everything was fine until one day all of the sudden one morning i had excesive white smoke and at first i thought it was cndensation because it does NOT smell like coolant. it smelled more like steam from plain water. after driving for 30 min it was still smoking but now the smoke was blueish. im thinking im burning oil but where is this coming from, Piston rings or valve stem seals? motor runs very strong and quiet which makes me think it's the valve stem seals. please help. I'M NOT LOOSING COOLANT AT ALL. I THINK I AM LOOSING OIL
