White rims under my nails?

i get a white rim around the pink meat under my nails,it's like skin or something. It doesn't look bad but i would still like it gone.I don't know what kind of residue it is but it's noticable to me.
Any idea how to get rid of the whiteness on the inner rim of the meat on the inside of my nails?
 
Have you tried a Nail repair kit or perhaps a cuticle remover?

The white rims is a natural thing, it's the growth of another nail forming. To cover it use nail polish :)
